Baby

The body of a new born child was found stuffed up a chimney in March 1910.

It was thought that the baby had been put there 2-3 years earlier (est 1908).

There had been several tenants in the house over the previous 2-3 years.

The body was discovered by a chimney sweep. 

There was a piece of sponge wedged tightly in its mouth and a bootlace was tied around its neck.
