Edward Hunter was found dead in a stream near Cow Lane not far from the Thames.
He died from drowning, however, the stream was only 2ft 6in deep.
A police constable that went to the stream, said that he found no signs of violence or foul play.
The pathologist said that he had been dead for at least two weeks. He said that he found no traces of disease or bruising and that his cause of death had been drowning.
His father said that as far as he knew that is son had no reason to take his own life, adding:
He had lived at 26 College Close in Harrow Yeald.
