The remains of James Desmond Dolman were found in some woodland off the A45 near Hardingstone in Northampton on 2 February 2021.

He had gone missing on 19 March 1999.

His cause of death was found to be unascertained.

His remains were found by members of the public foraging for natural artistic materials.

A detective said:

Items of clothing were found and in some of this clothing we found two cards in the name of James Dolman.

However, the police noted that they were not treating the discovery of the bones as anything involving any suspicious circumstances.
