Lavaun Witter was stabbed outside a block of flats in Wisbeach Road, Croydon on 5 February 2021.
Four people were arrested over his murder and a trial was scheduled for 2023, but there are no trial results.
It was thought that he was killed during an incident in which drug dealers forced their way into the flat of some rival drug dealers.
The police were called out at about 8pm but he was pronounced dead at the scene at 9.10pm.
Lavaun Witter was known as 'Lavz'.
