A baby was found in a box in an attic.
An open verdict was returned.
The mother, who admitted to having given birth to the child on 17 June 1993 said she thought it was stillborn and put it in a plastic box and hid it in the attic.
The body was later found after some children decided to play in the attic on 1 August 1993.
The postmortem examination was unable to determine the cause of the child's death.
The mother had lived in the house with the boy's father, and the two boys had been staying at the house with their father, the homeowner, and had suggested exploring the attic. When one of them found the box, they said it smells 'very fishy', and so they took it outside and opened it and found the body and told their father who contacted the police.
An order was made not to name the mother in order to protect her other children.
