Anthony Littler was found dead in an alleyway opposite East Finchley Tube station just after midnight on 1 May 1984.
He had lived in Leslie Road, about 15 minutes' walk away.
He had been hit over the head with a blunt object and suffered from significant head injuries.
The attack on him was thought to have been random and the motive was not known.
Following an appeal in December 2023 a 58-year-old man and a 54-year-old man were arrested in connection with his murder. Two more people, a 56-year-old man and a 57-year-old man were arrested on 21 March 2024.
