Matthew Kitcher was found with head injuries in Thornes Park, Brighouse in the early hours of Monday 6 April 2020.
The emergency services were called to the scene at 1.36am and he was taken to hospital but died soon after.
It was thought that he received his injuries after a fight got out of hand.

The police later appealed for anyone that had had contact with Matthew Kitcher in the week before his death to come forward. They said that they knew what his movements were in the hours before his death, but wanted to determined where he had been from 29 March 2020.
Matthew Kitcher was also known as Matty.
