Tom Lewis was stabbed in the leg in Norwich Road, Wisbech on 8 September 2020 and died two days later.
He was taken to hospital after being found stabbed and one of his legs was amputated in an effort to save him, but he died two days later on Thursday 10 September 2020 at 1.17pm.
He had been stabbed multiple times in the leg. He was initially taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn but was soon after transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge where he died after his life support machine was switched off.
Two men were tried for his murder but acquitted. They were acquitted on 25 February 2022 at Cambridge Crown Court.
Six people had initially been arrested in relation to his murder.
Following the acquittals the Cambridgeshire police appealed for anyone with any new information to come forward quoting Operation Wentworth.
