An 87-year-old man died after he fell off of his mobility scooter during an alleged robbery in The Boulevard in Crawley at 3.45pm on Sunday 22 July 2018.
He was taken to St George’s Hospital where he died the same day around 9pm. He had suffered a cardiac arrest.
It was said that he had been involved in an altercation near the public toilets by Marks and Spencers.
Three people were arrested on suspicion of robbery and manslaughter.
They were all arrested near the scene.
Nothing more is known about the charges.
