John Mallaburn and Bill Boys were recovered from the River Stour.
They had gone missing after rowing out to their ship from the shore at Erwarton, the Temple Bar, which was laid up in the River Stour, on 8 December 1958.
Bill Boys's body was found in the river on 27 February 1959 whilst John Mallaburn's body was found in the river on Thursday 26 March 1959 near Harkstead.
An open verdict was returned at their inquest.
John Mallaburn had been the Chief Officer and had lived in Chopwell. The pathologist said that his cause of death was unascertainable due to the amount of time that his body had been in the water.
Bill Boys's had been the Third Engineer.
