The body of a baby was found in Victoria Street, Portsmouth on 25 January 2020.
It was found at the junction of Victoria Street and Old Commercial Road.
The child was described as having been born at 39 weeks which was full term.
The mother of the child was identified but the post mortem was inconclusive and the cause of its death could not be determined.
Several people were arrested but no charges were made.
The post-mortem examination was inconclusive.
The police said the baby was not born in a hospital.
The mother was however charged with concealing the child's birth.
