Flamur Daci was murdered with a sharp instrument.
He was attacked at the Tesco supermarket in Gravesend on 28 December 1999 during a brawl which continued near the railway station.
He was injured and taken to hospital where he later died on 30 December 1999.
He was an Albanian immigrant and five other Albanian asylum seekers were identified as having been involved in the brawl, but it was said that they all fled abroad. It was thought that they had gone to Italy.
