Lorraine Freeman

Lorraine Freeman went missing from Purfleet in Essex on 13 August 1998.

Her body has never been found.

She had lived in Haberden Court in Wingrove Drive, Purfleet but was originally from Glasgow.

She had worked as a housekeeper in Purfleet.

She was described as:

• White.
• 5ft 1in tall.
• Dark brown hair.

She was reported missing by her boyfriend after he returned from a ten-day trip to Ireland. They had been together for eight years.

During their investigation into her disappearance the police searched a nearby lake and analysed CCTV footage.

The police said that they were treating her case as a non-suspicious missing person. However, Lorraine Freeman's sister said she thought she had been murdered.
