Ivy Hurst fell from a train.
She was found at the bottom of a 50-foot-high viaduct just after a train had passed by two NAAFI girls.
She was identified by a piece of paper that she had had on her with her name, 'Ivy Hurst', and address, 'Walpole Road, Crossland Moor, Huddersfield', written on it.
It was said that there had been many passengers standing in the corridors of the train at the time and that it was thought that at least one of them might have known whether Ivy Hurst had been standing by a carriage door and whether or not she was by herself.
