Herbert Pimlott

Herbert Pimlott was found lying injured in West Cliff Drive, Blackpool around midnight on 11 March 1940.He was later found lying in the road injured by passers-by.

He was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital where he died on the morning of 12 March 1940.

It was thought that he had first been knocked down by a bus and had then been driven over by other cars.

His relatives had been looking for him for some time after he left home for a walk at 8.50pm and never returned.

He was a music hall artiste and had lived in Bispham Road in Blackpool.
