Cheryll Grover

Cheryll Grover was strangled in her bedroom.

She was found dead by her estranged husband on 13 May 2000 at her home after he could not get in contact with her. He had got into her home by climbing up the drainpipe.

She was known to have last spoken to her friend on her phone at 2.35am on 13 May 2000.

She had been strangled with the belt of her dressing gown.

Her post-mortem stated that death was due to strangulation, however, an open verdict was returned at her inquest.

Cheryll Grover had a 1-year old daughter. It was thought that she might have been selling drugs from her home.

A 32-year-old man was arrested in connection with her death but released without charge.
