Doris Jessie Mabel Yendole

Doris Jessie Mabel Yendole was found dead at the bottom of a cliff.

She was said to have been a happy girl and had been going out with a Lance-Corporal from the Buffs Regiment.

A man said that he had been passing Hambro Road at 11.30pm and heard some scuffling and a girl saying 'Don't! don't!'. Her boyfriend said that he had been with her until 11.30pm but denied that she had said 'Don't! don't!'.
