The body of a newly-born child was found in a bass bass by the water's edge at Killingholme Haven near Grimsby.
The body was wrapped up in an underskirt.
The post-mortem showed that the child had lived a few hours. The doctor said that he thought that it had been wrapped up and stuffed into the bass shortly after birth.
The cause of death was given as drowning.
