The body of a newly-born child was found buried at the beach at Hythe in a cloth.
It had been strangled with a boot lace.
It was wrapped in some old cloth and nearby were copies of an old English daily pictorial paper and a French paper that had been published three weeks earlier.
It was buried in the shingle near the sea wall.
