Lukey Maxwell was stabbed to death in Northumberland Park, N17, in the early hours of 5 June 2015.
A man was charged with his murder on 7 June 2015, but the case against him was later dropped after the Crown Prosecution Service said that there was insufficient evidence to provide a realistic prospect of conviction.
Two other men and two women were also arrested early on in the investigation, but all later released without charge.
He was found in the street just after midnight and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
He had been stabbed in the back.
