A woman was found poisoned in a garden.
Before she died she told a constable that she lived in Highbury.
She was buried as an unknown but 10 days later her photograph was recognised by a man as his wife who had been missing for several weeks. His children also said that they recognised the photo as being of their mother and a landlady said that she recognised the photo as her former lodger, however, the man later wrote to say that his wife had been seen alive within the last few days.
It is not known how she came to be poisoned in the garden. Its assumed that it could have been foul play.
