Justin Laurie Bernier was stabbed to death at his home in Clapham.
He had lived in a flat at 297 Clapham Road in Clapham and was found there on the Monday morning, 21 February 2005.
His post-mortem stated that he died from massive blood loss.
The police said that there was no sign of a forced entry.
Some arrests were made but there are no known charges, trials or convictions.
The police appealed for anyone that had been in the area on the Saturday night or Sunday morning to come forward.
They said they were keeping an open mind as to the motive.
